CHAPTER 2

In chapter 2 Edward Humes gives us some background history on our garbage crisis. It started way back when people would throw their garbage and belongings outside their windows and doing this resulted in a plague which killed most of Frances population and from there our method's  about our garbage disposable continues to grow. we improved the old method of throwing garbage out the windows and having pigs come eat the trash by now actually placing our garbage in a trash bag and walking it out to the curb to be picked up by the garbage man. It really shocks me that will all the improvements in technology and science we still have not found a way to properly dispose of our garbage that will not put us in anymore harm.
